No Small Work

Guided girlhood

We believe that creating community starts with centering women. No Small Work is an invitation to do the internal work in a supported, guided, and safe community.

We know there’s no such thing as ‘small work’. Learning yourself, others, and the world is hard and big work. Everything from cycle breaking to moving to relearning to friendship breakups, it’s all big work. No cycle change is too small, no goal/dream/habit is too big. It all means something.

Women’s Circles

Women’s circles are not therapy but they do feel therapeutic. Our aim is to facilitate a safe space, to be the container so you can more deeply connect to yourself and others with tools and resources to go out and own your new found power. Utilize that power to make the world around you a little bit better. This might feel familiar, but it might not, but this is in you, it’s in everyone. We’re just here to help you uncover her.

We’re the right fit for you if…

  • You’re looking to connect to yourself and others
  • You feel stuck in your life, in your patterns, in your identity
  • You want to know yourself deeper but aren’t sure how or where to start
  • You’re interested in doing girlhood/womanhood alongside other likeminded women
  • You want to witness other women in their womanhood and be witnessed
  • You’re looking to be part of something bigger, something local, something matriarchal
  • You’re looking to connect IRL
  • You’re looking for a space to do some structured growth
  • You’re lowkey woo woo
  • You’re a Barbie tired of living in the Mojo Dojo Casa House
  • You’re looking for a safe space to feel supported, seen, and be your full self

At NSW* we believe…

  • Women.
  • Patriarchy sucks and it’s time for a change
  • Everything is political
  • Human rights are nonnegotiable
  • Community care is the way through
  • Her body, her choice
  • As white women, we believe it’s our job to learn from, build up, make space for, and use our privilege to educate our fellow white women and lift up black and brown women of color.

*We’re a space for women who believe in our core values. If you don’t, that’s ok, we’re not the place for you! Our groups are meant to be safe, vulnerable, open and that is done best when everyone is in value alignment.

On Pricing

We price our offerings considering two very important pieces. The first included evaluating and meeting market pricing for therapeutic style support groups with two trained professionals.

The second and we feel most important – as women we are conditioned to offer soft skills out of the goodness of our hearts, without charging for our hard earned skills and talents. While it is our ethos to one day work towards offering this work as part of community care, that is not the reality of society expectations as we survive late stage capitalism.

We would love more than anything to barter our skills with the farmers, healers, child care givers and makers. We hold out hope that we will see that world. And, for now, we choose to assign value to our skills and time, something we believe every woman should do.

Thank you for supporting us, it means everything to be able to offer the work we care most about. If you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out for an open conversation.

Meet The Matriarchs

Paige is an eldest daughter, lover of themed girly gatherings, and pop culture connoisseur. She is also the biggest fan of glitter you’ll ever meet. Under the sparkle, she has a love of deep talks in coffee shops and learning about what makes people tick. She is a San Diego native who spent 5 years in North Carolina in undergrad before making her way back to the best coast. She is fun sized but packed to the brim with fierce loyalty. She’s the lighthouse in any storm, keeping you grounded and safe.

Selaina is a boundaried Pisces Sun, water lover, mother, big feeler and huge fan of women. She is an eldest daughter and mirror of a friend. She is deeply passionate about helping folks see themselves honestly and identify their own needs. She’s the first to cry at the restaurant so you feel safe to, if you need. She sees the best in you and has a hard time stopping until you see it too.
